TALLAHASSEE, FL - In a controversial move that has sparked outrage, Governor Ron DeSantis signed an executive order Friday prohibiting the appearance of rainbows across the state for the entire summer season.
The order, which takes effect June 1st and lasts through August 31st, makes it illegal for any rainbow to "manifest, appear, or otherwise present itself" in Florida's skies during the prime summer months. Violators could face fines of up to $10,000 per observed rainbow.
